Consistency

June 8, 2020

People say getting started on something new is the hard part.

For someone who starts a lot of things, I say getting started is actually the easy part.

Doing it over and over again? Now that’s hard.

Getting started and exercising for 5 days, or 30 is easy.

Doing it for 365 days in a row? Now that’s hard.

I have been writing daily for just 6 days. The first 5 were easy. Today, I almost failed and skipped.

But I didn’t.

Someone reminded me that I’m unlikely to beat out a brilliant piece if I write just now.

But I am definitely unlikely to write a brilliant piece without maintaining this consistency.

So here I am, writing about consistency because it’s all I thought about for the past 30 minutes before I sat down to write.

By the way, I teach a course called Learn Programmatic SEO to help grow Google search traffic.

Programmatic SEO is a methodical and data-driven approach to finding keywords, understanding user intent and creating dozens or hundreds of pages of content.

Learn how to apply this framework to your business, whether it's ecommerce, SaaS, or even a side project. No prior SEO knowledge required.
